Ashland Art Center is an artists' support hub that fills its 9000 square feet to the brim with two fine art galleries, 19 private artist's studios, a Cooperative Clay Studio, Central Art Supply satellite store, Rowan Design and a Community Classroom for classes and meetings. As a two generation family business, Central Art Supply has been supplying our art community with the best tools available for local artists to create for 30 years. We carry a large range of brushes, paints, canvases, pencils and drawing pads and a great deal more. We also provide custom framing services and classes by top art instructors.

Leah Fanning Mebane creates non-toxic natural paints with earth pigments she collects herself from local soils and locally sourced walnut oil. Afters years of R&D, she now has Earth Paint kits for adults and children available from her website. Founder Hannah West created SOAR to drive traffic to member sites, increase online visibility for our region's art community and promote its members to residents and visitors.
