I am a novice in the field of ceramics, primarily Raku, and lapidary art. While in college I took metalsmithing and had a minor in Art History. Now that I am retired I have the time to develop my interests in these arts fields.

Cathy DeForest is a book artist who integrates printmaking, photography, drawing, mixed media and letterpress into her artist books. Cathy specializes in one-of-a-kind books based on found objects and small editions of letterpress books. In addition to selling over 3,000 letterpress broadsides of her work, her books are in national collections and have been exhibited widely. Visits to her studio gallery can be arranged.
Janis's landscape paintings in oil and pastel reside in galleries in Oregon and California. Her honors include signature status in Pastel Society of West Coast, Northwest Pastel Society, Pastel Society of New Mexico and Sierra Pastel Society, and Master Pastelist status with Pastel Society of Oregon. Jannie creates stained glass art and fused glass jewelry from her studio in Talent. She evolved from classical designs to her own abstract creations, frequently incorporating geode slices into the designs. Her work has been published in an art glass book featuring glass artists from around the world and can be seen in various locations in Ashland and Jacksonville.

I am the resident artist and Chef/Co-Owner of Maclevin’s Restaurant in J’ville for the past 11 years. I've been at the easel for the last 40 years, painting abstracts in prismatic color exclusively with Windsor Newton oils. My surrealistic style employs various construction mediums to elevate images 3-dimensionally from the canvas.
My artwork is in private and corporate collections world-wide. I am an award-winning artist, past gallery-owner, and my art has been in many exhibitions. I work in various mediums, subjects and types of art and am a member of several art societies, and past member of many more.

My work is mainly landscapes, seascapes & nature photographs taken in S. Oregon and along the Oregon Coast, joined by travel, architectural, floral and abstract photos. During 30 years as a Cardio-thoracic Surgical Physician Asst. I've helped patients and family through some of the most stressful days of their lives. This makes creating images with a sense of beauty and peace which can relieve the stresses of life one of my greatest joys.
Growing up in Hawaii, I absorbed the tastes and cultures of the Islands. My father, a photographer, also blessed me with an artistic eye for exotic colors and shapes. In 1991 I came to Oregon; my unique handsewn cotton Japanese and Hawaiian print Happi Coats and Kimonos, hand-painted silk scarves and wall hangings can be found at select art venues throughout the state. I'm often commissioned to create custom pieces to wear or to decorate the home or office.
