My work is mainly landscapes, seascapes & nature photographs taken in S. Oregon and along the Oregon Coast, joined by travel, architectural, floral and abstract photos. During 30 years as a Cardio-thoracic Surgical Physician Asst. I've helped patients and family through some of the most stressful days of their lives. This makes creating images with a sense of beauty and peace which can relieve the stresses of life one of my greatest joys.

Pat's work hangs in public & private collections from Australia to California to New York. She is a member of Plein Air Painters of Oregon, the Plein Air Society of Southern Oregon, and a Rogue Valley Art Association life member. I begin my paintings with an idea. I build the painting layer by layer, drawing lines and shapes, looking for rhythm and feeling. My color sense is a reflection of my childhood in New Mexico fused with colors of my home in the Northwest. My goal is to go beyond the surface to find joy, wonder and a bit of mystery. I have shown my works in galleries, juried, group and solo shows in Washington, Oregon, Montana and New Mexico. My paintings are in private collections in the west, New York and Norway.

A self-taught artist whose evocative style is accomplished with acrylics, inks, metallics and pigments. Pegi's paintings are in private collections in Switzerland, Australia and throughout the US, and were featured in the 2009 edition of "International Contemporary Masters." Her work is often available at many galleries and artisans' markets all along the West coast.
