Jessica Carrara has been creating works of glass art in the Rogue Valley for over 30 years and owns LightGarden Glass Art. 的 believe there is a creative energy that flows through the universe and unites us. As an artist, I look to tap into that energy; continually moving forward through expression and design. So many times I値l finish a design and stand back to look, not even remembering when it stopped being a hazy vision and became a piece of art that was, in part, from beyond myself.

  • Carpe Diem Papers

Carpe Diem Papers is an illustrated life. My paintings & cards have a childlike innocence, imaginative color palette, a sweetness and a fondness for the little things in our journey that make us happy. Makig someone's mailbox happy makes me happy. Send mail. Write x's and o's. Buy good stamps. Tell someone hello, thinking of you through the mail. You don't need a reason.

My art and subject matter is governed by my intuition as well as my emotional responses. Unconscious archetypal energies are a strong influence in all that I do. Listening to the voice within allows me freedom from obsessive perfection, as the perfection of intuition guides my art experience. See Charu's listing in the Teaching Artists category.

Margaret Stermer-Cox

  • Talent, Oregon
I begin my watercolor paintings with an idea and a drawing. I build the painting layer by layer, drawing lines and shapes, looking for rhythm and feeling. My color sense is a reflection of my childhood in New Mexico fused with colors from my home in the Northwest. My goal is to go beyond the surface to find joy, wonder and a bit of mystery.
