A painter and poet, I play in the crossroads of art & spirit. My paintings are visual stanzas of a poem I will spend my life writing - with brush & pen. I've had the honor to create and exhibit art in the United States, Europe & Micronesia. "As with poetry, painting is either a battle or a dance. Given the choice between music & a sword, I choose music." It's a lovely dance. Anna teaches workshops in prophetic art and poetry; see her listing in the Teaching Artists directory.
Artist Judy Elliott of Grants Pass, Oregon hand paints silk scarves and silk wall hangings featuring a variety of natural subjects, insects and animals. She also makes hand sewn kimonos from beautiful Japanese and Hawaiian printed fabrics. Click to visit Judy Elliott's website.

My inspiration for painting on silk is influenced by my experiences while growing up in Hawaii with its Asian and Hawaiian culture, an artistic family, and my observation of nature while hiking throughout Oregon. I've always been fascinated with nature and its wonders, from the tiniest insects and wild birds to the night sky. The natural world influences my art directly and pleases my soul.
Artist Janis Lacey Ellison of Grants Pass, Oregon paints landscapes in oil and pastel. Her work is highly sought after. Click to visit Janis Ellison's website and view galleries of her beautiful artwork.

I have a degree from the Academie of Art and a Biology degree from the University of Riga, Latvia. My sculptures in bronze are in private collections in Latvia, Germany and England. When I came to Alaska from Latvia in 1997 I was overwhelmed by its beauty; I was able to observe Alaska's magnificent brown bears and painting them with Alaska scenery became my passion. In 2003 I came to Applegate, Oregon. My paintings are exhibited in Ashland, Medford and Jacksonville galleries.
